It is the creative force that brings all things into existence.
This sacred energy is not only sensual but is linked to the body, warriror spirit, cycles of creation, nature & transformation.
These garments were made to express the hidden & voiceless aura of the goddess within us all.

This first ensemble symbolizes the natural metamorphosis of the butterfly. The transformation is represented through reconstruction of a pair of beautifully paint-stained jeans from the artist, Ryan Williams (@RyeVegas).
I converted the men's multicolored denim jeans into an asymmetrical buttoned skirt with slits down both the center front & back. Naturally mimicking the opening of a newly born butterfly’s wings as it hangs upside down. While the tied-up haltered corset is made of alligator embossed leather, embodying the textured exterior of a harden chrysalis.
This next outfit was created to emphasize the feminine features of the body. Starting by exaggerating the bust with a deeply lowcut sweetheart neckline. The dark indigo denim & black lace paneled corset cuts at the waist and comes to a sharp point at the hips. The high-waisted satin pants are double split to showcase the entire length of the leg and thigh crease. Topped with a 1930's vintage inspired wide-brim classic hat, constructed in the same dark denim. Finished with a thick 1 inch-wide ribbon trim for an even more modern yet elegant twist.
This mini fold over clutch was weaved together using denim scraps. The lining is a fashionable marbled fabric with a piece of machine felted wool in-between the layers of fabric for structure. Securely closes via magnetic clasp, & zipper with blue crystal used as decorative zipper tab.
Lastly, this daringly deconstructed denim dress is the personification of the warrior spirits attitude. It radiates an unapologetic confidence by mixing a bold array of materials including silks, laces, feathers, leather and denim. The edges of the silk are serged featuring an irregular mini open exposed train. The raw asymmetrical lines, pleats and fringe were instinctively draped to create the undeniable constant change of hems & seams. Staying true to the natural flow of the fabric, just like the authentic nature of the warrior spirit.
